[BREAKING]: Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyerematen resigns

John Alan Kyerematen, the minister of trade and industry, has left President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.

According to reports, Alan submitted his letter of resignation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on January 5, 2023.

Although the reason for his resignation is unknown, he had been working in the Trade Ministry since 2017, and it is thought that he made the move to better focus on his presidential aspirations.

The men are increasingly being separated from the boys as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gets ready to elect its flagbearer ahead of the national elections in 2024.

Five pillars of the NPP have so far publicly declared their desire to lead the organization.

Vice President Dr. Bawumia and Minister of Trade and Industry Alan Kyerematen are two candidates that have been mentioned as potential candidates to serve as the NPP's flagbearer when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-term Addo's ends.

Others are Dr. Afriyie Akoto, the Minister of Agriculture, Boakye Kyerematen Agyarko, the former Minister of Energy, and Joe Ghartey, the former Minister of Railway Development.

John Alan Kyeremanten, a candidate for the party's presidential nomination, previously stated that he is ready to take the party to success in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to Alan Kyerematen, who previously made sacrifices for a competitor, he now demands to be compensated similarly.
