A respiratory collapse that the police characterized as having occurred during a passionate encounter between Ali Musstafa and his girlfriend at Avenue Lodge in Arua City caused the businessman from OZU cell, Kenya ward in Arua District to pass away.
Police in West Nile's Arua District are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 25-year-old businessman who was allegedly having an affair in a lodge.
A respiratory collapse that the police characterized as having occurred during a passionate encounter between Ali Musstafa and his girlfriend at Avenue Lodge in Arua City caused the businessman from OZU cell, Kenya ward in Arua District to pass away.
"The victim passed away in the room after collapsing. The girlfriend went and informed the hotel staff, who promptly informed the Arua police. No evidence of drugs, poison, or other body influences was found at the location, which was thoroughly investigated. After that, the body was moved to Arua Referral Hospital and examined, according to police spokesperson SCP Fred Enanga on Monday.
Before his body was removed from the hotel room and taken for a postmortem, he claimed that Musstafa passed away on January 25 at around 9 p.m. due to respiratory failure.
SCP Enanga continued, "Death during consenting intercourse can occur for a number of causes, including the physical strain of the activity or due to extraordinary mitigating circumstances."
