Moises Caicedo, a midfielder who wants to leave Brighton, has received a new offer from Arsenal.
A new offer of £70 million has been made for Caicedo by the Gunners.
On Friday morning, the Gunners' £60 million offer for the Ecuadorian was rejected; the Seagulls reportedly wanted £75 million. As speculation about his future grows in the last days of the window, Caicedo skipped training on Saturday and then the FA Cup triumph over Liverpool on Sunday.
The club is "ready to move forward" without the gifted midfielder, according to Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, but on Sunday evening, word of an increased offer from the Gunners surfaced.
