[TRENDING]: INEC Officially Confirms Bola Tinubu as President of Nigeria

 


The All Progressive Congress (APC) leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu has successfully earned a third term for his honorable party at the Nigerian Presidency. 


After a close election over the weekend, Bola has been proclaimed president-elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INDEC). 



The 70-year-old president-elect won the 2023 presidential election with 8,805,422 votes cast.


Early on March 1st, Tinubu was declared the victor at the International Collation Center in Abuja by INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu. 


In doing so, Tinubu defeats his three opponents, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.
