It is with a heavy heart that the South Campus of the University of Education-Winneba, and the Bush Canteen, announces the untimely passing of their beloved food seller, Bra Kwadwo. The sad incident occurred on the 8th of June, 2023, and the cause of his death is currently unknown.
Bra Kwadwo had been the face of the canteen for over a decade, and his presence was deeply missed this morning after his passing. The university and canteen have long been blessed with his presence and service, and he will always be remembered and cherished.
Bra Kwadwo had been serving the community since before many of our current students were even born, having begun his service at the Bush Canteen in 20 August 2010 as an assistant food seller. With his hard work and dedication, he slowly advanced and became the cherished food seller we all knew him to be.
Bra Kwadwo left an indelible impression on members of staff and students alike. His cheerful disposition and love for people was unparalleled, living his motto of "treat others the way you want to be treated". He was always willing to help out when needed, no matter the time of day, always with a big smile on his face.
It is with deepest sadness, that the Bush Canteen, the South Campus of UEW, the Winneba Community and the nation as a whole mourns the passing of Bra Kwadwo, the beloved Food Seller. We invite you all to join us in praying for his immediate family and friends, sending them love and strength during this difficult time.
