According to the record-keeping company, John Cena, the star of WWE, joined the Guinness Book of World Records for fulfilling the most Make-A-Wish Foundation desires.
According to Guinness, he is the celebrity that kids want to meet the most. No other character has even accumulated 200 wishes.
A charity organization called Make-A-Wish grants critically
ill children's wishes, such as visits from their favorite celebrities.
Recently, Cena made his 650th wish to meet a sick youngster come true.
Cena frequently interacts with the kids and their families
before rewarding them with front-row seats at a WWE event. He usually engages
in discussion with the kids, joins them in photos, and generally behaves like a
friend to them. His mere presence has an impact on them.
In an interview with SportsCenter in 2018, Cena said,
"If you don't feel affected when you encounter something like a
Make-A-Wish reward, I don't know if you have a beating heart." He
continues by saying that the families' excitement at the outcome might give
ailing children hope, which he claims "can occasionally move
mountains."
The early 2000s saw the fulfillment of Cena's first wish, and
since then, he has gone on to win 16 WWE championships. He shares the record
for the most championship reigns in the history of professional wrestling with
Ric Flair.
Cena's work with the organization has had a significant
positive effect. More time has been spent with Make-A-Wish kids than he has
ever spent on a single wrestling technique or championship.
He does exceptional work for charity and cheers up those
who need it most, which is excellent.
Cena has contributed to improving the world through the
collaboration between Make-A-Wish and WWE.
