The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) community has been struck with tragedy following the untimely passing of a Level 300 student, Hon. Samuel. The heartbreaking incident occurred after he reportedly fell ill and was later found in distress in his room.
What Happened?
According to reports, Hon. Samuel was last seen early in the morning at Ghartey B, where he was washing. He later complained of a headache and decided to return to his room to rest. However, things took a turn for the worse when the Ghartey Hall President found him in his bed, struggling and unresponsive.
Realizing the severity of the situation, the Hall President quickly rushed him to the school hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, he could not survive.

Hon. Samuel’s sudden passing has left many students and staff in shock and mourning. Friends and colleagues have taken to social media to express their condolences, remembering him as a kind and humble individual.
