Toni Kroos allegedly set to land a one-year Real Madrid contract extension in 2023

According to a rumor, midfielder Tony Kroos will likely receive a contract extension from Real Madrid.

The 32-year-old has played 373 times for Los Blancos since joining in 2014, and he has received plaudits for his recent efforts to help Carlo Ancelotti's team win La Liga after winning the league and the Champions League last season.

According to Soccer Espana, Kroos will receive a one-year extension at Real Madrid despite having previously stated his desire to leave the team.

A one-year contract extension with the European champions Actual Madrid is about to be signed by Toni Kroos.

Kroos joined the team in 2014 from Bayern Munich and has since won five Champions League championships.

With Kroos' midfield partner Luka Madrid signing back-to-back one-year extensions at the age of 37, Madrid is famed for having a strict policy toward athletes over the age of 30.

There were many rumors surrounding Kroos' future after Casemiro, 30, who won five Champions Leagues while playing in midfield with Kroos and Modrid over the course of nine years, recently left the team to join Manchester United. However, Kroos is now set to sign a new contract to further his career in Spain.

The current contract for the German is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
