The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the official release of postings for 106,223 university graduates to undertake their mandatory National Service for the 2024/2025 service year. This information, as per a press release issued on September 6, 2024, highlights that these personnel consist of the 2024 batch of Ghanaian graduates from accredited universities, including Ghanaians who studied abroad, defaulters, and private applicants. A mop-up exercise will be conducted for any remaining unassigned personnel.
Validation and Registration Process
All deployed service personnel are required to go through a four-step validation and registration process:
1. Check Placement: Graduates are to check their placements on the NSA website.
2. Print Appointment Letter: After checking the placement, the appointment letter is to be printed and endorsed at the place of posting.
3. Book Appointment for Registration: An appointment for registration is to be booked online after the letter endorsement.
4. Complete Registration: Finally, graduates are required to visit the Regional Validation and Registration Centre with the endorsed letter and a valid Ghana Card to complete the registration process.
Validation will begin at all regional centres on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and will end on Monday, September 30, 2024.
National Service Commencement Date
The 2024/2025 National Service officially begins on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The NSA has also reminded all personnel that reposting is not permitted and encourages them to embrace their postings as an integral part of their national development journey.
