R Kelly Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison | Here Is Why

American Based Singer and Songwriter, Robert Sylvester Kelly has known on stage as R Kelly has been sentenced to prison for 30 years for using his publicity to sexually abuse young women including his own children. On Wednesday 29th June, a court in New York declared the disgraced rapper 30 years imprisonment. Through tears and anger, several accusers of Kelly in the court said he has misled and preyed upon them. “You made me do things that broke my spirit. I literally wished I would die because of how you made me feel,” said one accuser, directly addressing Kelly, who kept his hands folded and his eye downcast. “Do you remember that?” she asked? Kelly couldn’t give any statement or reaction on hearing his penalty, which also included a $100,000 fine. He has e denied wrongdoing, and he plans to appeal his conviction. The Multiple Awards Music Artist was found guilty last year of racketeering and sex trafficking at a trial that gave voice to accusers who had previously wondered if their stories were being ignored because they were Black Women.
